The partnerships with the schools abroad

One of the most attractive ways of obtaining new knowledge from the agricultural production area is the interchangeable practice of students, which is realized at the twinned schools in abroad. Our school also has decided to make the study for students more interested by this way. The period of knotting partnerships with schools abroad laid the foundations in year 1996. We have oriented on adjacent states - Hungary Republic and Czech Republic, where are the conditions of agricultural production similar as in Slovakia. Our twinned schools have become:
Stredná poľnohospodárska škola (Secondary agricultural school) in Debrecen - Pallag and Stredné odborné učilište zemědelské
(Secondary specialistic agricultural school) in Čáslav.

At the first time the students and school staff of our school concerned at the interchangeable practice in Secondary agricultural school in Pallag in April 1996. The aim of this stay was recognizing the educational conditions of students in the mentioned school, as well as the acquaintance with the unconventional methods of growing agricultural products. Our students had a possibility to recognize also the latest and the state-of-the-art methods of dairy cattle breeding. During its weekly stay they also visited the worldwide breeding area Hortobágy, as well as cultural and historical monuments of Debrecín and its surrounding. Our students returned home from this interchangeable practice enriched with new knowledge and skills, and of course with memorable experiences too. The interchangeable practice in Hungary Republic has overshot in the similar spirit in the next years too. At the same time students from this twinned school have yearly concerned on the weekly interchangeable practice at our school, during which they are acquainted with the life at our school. They are also visited some agricultural and food factories, as well as cultural and historical monuments of our country.

Our second twinned school is already mentioned Secondary specialistic agricultural school in Čáslav. The first interchangeable practice with this twinned school was in June 2001. After recognizing with the life on the school they also visited the historical monuments of the towns: Čáslav, Prague, Kutná Hora and Žleby. The students from Secondary specialistic agricultural school in Čáslav were on the interchangeable practice at our school in May 2002.
The partnerships also continue in the simultaneity and they are on very good level. The yearly organized interchangeable practices at the twinned schools in abroad contribute not only to better recognizing of agricultural production in neighboring countries, but also to exchanging the experiences and to creating new fellowships between students and

school stuffs of twinned schools. We believe that also in the future will be good conditions for it, and these partnerships could be developed and confirmed.
